The Debt Capital Solutions team at Houlihan Lokey is looking to add an Associate in its Debt Advisory team with a focus on corporate clients, from large publicly-listed companies and established family-owned businesses to high-growth start-ups. Teamwork is essential to the firm’s success.

Associates are given substantial responsibility and access to clients and investors and are encouraged to help us grow our business.ResponsibilitiesLead selected transaction workstreams and support the overall day-to-day execution of financing advisory mandates (e.g. acquisition financings, refinancings,)Coordinating and leading internal deal teams on the preparation of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing materials, and other client deliverablesSupport the analysis and negotiation of financing terms and documentation, and help formulate recommendations for clientsPrepare, analyse, and present historical and projected financial models in support of ongoing engagementsAssist in originating new client engagements for the Capital Solutions team across various jurisdictions, industries, and situationsSupport relationship coverage of active debt investors, including banks, credit funds, and other alternative asset managersCoordinate third‑party workstreams with other professional advisors and perform business due diligenceMentor and support junior analystsThe environment at Houlihan Lokey is results-driven and, as such, rewards top performers with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior-level professionals and clients.Basic Qualifications/RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: This role involves high exposure to the top management of our clients (C-suite) and senior leadership within HL.A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset: We value team members who take initiative, think independently, and are always looking for new ways to add value to our clients and our business.Strong work ethic and resilience: The work is demanding and fast-paced.
