About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Legal Advisor to join their operations based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . This is an on-site position requiring your full presence at our client's offices. You will be integral to providing expert legal guidance across the company's diverse business activities, with a strong emphasis on commercial contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate and commercial matters pertinent to the company's operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and leases.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant South African laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage corporate secretarial duties and maintain statutory registers.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide clear, actionable advice.
• Assist in managing any legal disputes or litigation, coordinating with external counsel.
• Advise on risk management strategies and compliance programs.
• Support business units with legal aspects of projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience, with a focus on corporate and commercial law.
• Demonstrated experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of South African corporate legislation and relevant industry regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
