Responsibilities You will serve as the backbone of the Legal team, providing essential advice in employment law, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion questions, as well as in litigation and investigations.
Two 6‑month legal traineeship positions in Legal – Corporate Functions are available, one starting on January12027 and the other on June12027 at Novartis.
You will manage individual legal cases and major projects (e.g. reorganisations, divestments, the implementation of new policies and processes, artificial intelligence, etc.), drafting and reviewing agreements, internal regulations, and templates.
You will conduct in‑depth legal research and create legal memoranda, breaking down complex ideas into digestible insights. Qualifications Swiss Bachelor of Law (BLaw) and Master of Law (MLaw); the master’s degree must be completed before the start date. Excellent proficiency in English and German, both verbal and written.
High motivation and the ability to work independently on challenging tasks and projects. Prior legal internship and knowledge in employment law is a plus. Are you ready to sharpen your skills and inspire change?
