KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Please note that the salary for this role is currently in review. • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger (GL) to provide accurate and timely financial statements and reports to business areas and management through implementation of standard processes, procedures, and controls. • Provide leadership and direction over processes to the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, stakeholders, charities, and employees. • Ensure appropriate recording, tracking, and depreciation of AGLC's capital assets.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES • CPA Certification in good standing • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible and diversified accounting and management experience • Strong knowledge of: • IFRS and financial reporting standards • Internal control principles and concepts • Auditing principles, procedures and working paper requirements • Ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning • Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and automation. • Experience in complex, regulated environments is considered an asset NOTE: • To be eligible to work for AGLC, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or eligible to work in Canada. • While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted. • As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment. • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Albert - Corriveau Division/Branch: Corporate Services / Finance Classification: Senior Manager 1 Status: Permanent - FT Salary: $95,406.58 - $130,174.31 Reports to: Amy Nunez Closing Date: September 7th 2026 JOB SUMMARY AGLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting responsible for the following segments: corporate accounting, capital asset and inventory, financial reporting, accounts payable, business partner, and payroll.

This position is responsible for the corporate accounting and financial reporting functions including performance reporting, coordinating the completion and audit of the financial statements, and reporting to the Government of Alberta (GoA). This role oversees the accurate and timely payments of all expenses and remittances.

The position ensures best practices are adopted, standard operating procedures are adhered to, and sufficient controls are in place to maintain the integrity of financial data and to safeguard financial assets. The incumbent provides leadership and direction to reporting requirements of Finance, and cross-divisional strategic initiatives.

Developing strategic and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key to the success of the Corporate Accounting unit.

This position is responsible for all accounting aspects of capital assets and inventory. • Develop and maintain effective and productive internal and external relationships to ensure the unit provides timely and relevant financial information and reporting. • Lead the audit of the annual financial statements, Alberta Beverage Container Recycling audit, and internal audits. • Provide insight to the payroll unit to ensure employees are consistently and accurately paid on time and in compliance with agreements, legislation, and audit.

This role is also responsible for approving payroll and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) remittances. • Champion, empower, and lead the unit in continuous process improvement to ensure management has the financial information and tools to make informed decisions.
