Serving as a strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive high-stakes advocacy and organizational transformation within the world's most equitable talent company.
How will the Director of Corporate Affairs drive impact?
You will translate Randstad’s overarching "Partner for Talent" framework into an integrated, market-leading corporate affairs strategy across our Operational, Professional, Enterprise, and Digital business specializations. Your responsibilities are divided into four strategic pillars:

- Thought Leadership: Direct all DACH media relations, blending global corporate narratives with local market nuances to maximize share of voice and brand equity.
- Narrative Development: Craft and execute compelling communication strategies for executive announcements, town halls, and critical leadership milestones.
2. High-Stakes Public Affairs & Advocacy
- Political Advocacy: Navigate complex regulatory landscapes and labor markets, translating political monitoring into actionable executive counsel.
- Coalition Building: Position Randstad as a premier industry authority by engaging directly with senior government officials, policy makers, and key industry coalitions.
3. Transformation & Change Management
- Change Communications: Develop and activate strategic transformation narratives to support Randstad’s engagement and organizational change agenda in the DACH region.
- Media Coaching: Provide high-level crisis preparation and media coaching to the executive leadership team.
4. Sustainability & ESG
- Social Impact: Oversee Randstad DACH’s approach to sustainability and CSR, aligning local initiatives with global ESG targets and business objectives.
- NGO & Community Engagement: Collaborate with HR and external NGO partners to cultivate high-impact volunteerism and community programs that drive employee engagement.
What is the structure of the corporate affairs team?
- Established Communications Specialists: Senior professionals with deep‑seeded knowledge of Randstad’s culture, key narratives, and an extensive network of top‑tier media relations across the DACH region.
- Seasoned Public Affairs Experts: Highly experienced practitioners with a sophisticated understanding of regional labor market policies, regulatory environments, and political monitoring.
- Dedicated Sustainability & ESG Leads: Impact‑driven experts who actively manage our corporate citizenship programs, NGO partnerships, and local sustainability strategies.
Your role as Director is to act as the orchestrator: aligning these disciplines under a unified regional vision, mentoring senior talent, removing operational roadblocks, and elevating their collective insights to drive high‑level strategic decisions at the executive board level.
