Senior Manager – National and International Corporate Tax

• Advising and supporting national and international corporations and family-owned businesses on all tax matters, including shareholder-level issues • Reviewing tax returns, tax balance sheets, and current and deferred tax calculations under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS as part of quarterly and annual closings • Serving as a point of contact for the tax authorities and supporting clients during tax audits • Advising on and supporting projects involving the restructuring of corporate and financing structures, as well as acquisitions, divestitures, and business succession • Preparing tax opinions and applications for binding rulings on complex corporate tax matters • Conducting complex tax simulation calculations and developing tax planning strategies • Serving as a mentor to the team and a trusted point of contact for clients Requirements • Successfully completed a degree in business administration, law, or a comparable field with a focus on taxation • Ideally, passed the German Tax Advisor Examination or the First or Second State Examination in Law • Several years of professional experience at a tax advisory firm, within the tax authorities, or in the tax department of a national or international corporation • Solution-oriented approach to work • Enjoyment of client communication, project responsibility, and supporting the team’s professional and personal development • Team player with excellent communication skills and a high level of motivation • Very good written and spoken English • Proficient in standard MS Office applications and DATEV Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in tax advisory services, including tax return review, corporate tax planning, and compliance with German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS.

Proficient in client communication and mentoring, with a strong focus on team development and project management.
