IT Service System Engineer (m/w/d)

Location: München (Home‑Office 100%)

Employment: Full‑time, permanent, 40‑hour week, flexible trust work schedule

We are seeking an experienced IT Service System Engineer to support and maintain secure messaging and Secure PIM systems within a small, agile team. You will work closely with the management and external service providers to ensure reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and install secure messaging and Secure PIM solutions, ensuring compliance with SLAs and ITIL guidelines.

• Monitor an open‑source platform (Matrix, Secure PIM) and manage backend changes.

• Provide 2nd‑level support, incident and change management, and perform complex fault analysis.

• Maintain and update technical documentation.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments.

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of experience with enterprise messaging/Mobile/Enterprise Mobility solutions.

• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

• Experience with IT service management and requirements analysis.

• Familiarity with open‑source protocols (Matrix) or Secure PIM a plus.

• Technical skills in Python, SQL and Prometheus are desirable.

• Good communication skills, structured, solution‑oriented; ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).

• Relevant education in business, IT, or similar.
